Full Photography Training Provided
You might have noticed that we haven’t asked you about your knowledge of, or experience in photography. That’s because we give full training in the specific type of photographic skills needed in the childcare photography business and actually prefer no experience.
The most important thing is that you like working with the staff and families at childcare centres and, with your training, you will be able to produce beautiful photographs of the children.

What marketing support does Little Images provide?
Head office is there to provide bookings for you. From the day your paperwork is done we are already working on promoting your business and generating bookings for you. Combined with your local marketing, we aim to have you up and running as quickly as possible. For example, as at the time of writing, Kelly – our newest franchisee in Perth – has 24 bookings and her franchise only officially started on the 1st July (27 days ago) and Kelly has rebooked 100% of her shoots she has delivered for 2019 already. Head office booked approximately 80% of these bookings for Kelly and together with Kelly’s local marketing we would expect her to have 50 – 80 or more bookings for 2019.
Is there a marketing levy?
No, Little Images does not have a marketing levy.
Are there royalty fees?
Yes, as you photograph childcare centres as part of the production there is a royalties component, meaning Little Images only makes money if you are making money.
This works beautifully with the lifestyle aspect of the business – generally franchisees prefer to work during school terms.
How much will I make?
We are happy for franchisees to work part time as long as they are earning at least $40,000 per annum.
Generally franchisees make $60,000 – $80,000 per annum.
Do I need to be a photographer?
No, we actually prefer experience in childcare over knowing what to do with a camera. Most of our franchisees had never take professional photos before joining the Little Images childcare photography franchise.
We will train you on everything you need to know to be a childcare photographer.
You just need to be someone who works well with people and has patience with children.
(if you do not have patience with children, this is not for you!)
Will I need to get a working with children check?
Yes, we require all franchisees to have a current working with children check.
